Real horsemanship is built on clear communication, strong fundamentals, and developing an honest working partnership between horse and rider.
That means the horse is never the only one being worked with. Nicole's program develops the rider alongside the horse, because a rider who does not understand how their position, energy, and communication are affecting their horse will always be the limiting factor, no matter how talented or willing that horse is.
It also means there are no shortcuts. Holes in a foundation do not disappear, they show up later, in the behavior, the resistance, or the ceiling on what the horse and rider can achieve together. Nicole builds slowly and correctly because that is the only way to build something that holds.
Progress in Nicole's program is not measured by how fast a horse or rider moves through a skill. It is measured by how well they understand it, how consistently they can apply it, and how confidently they can carry it forward on their own.

Nicole's program is education-first. Every session is designed to give you a clearer picture of what your horse needs, why it is responding the way it is, and what you can do differently to change it. You will not leave a session with a list of things your horse did wrong. You will leave with a better understanding of your role in the conversation and the tools to improve it.
A significant part of that conversation happens through the rider's body. Nicole's background in human biomechanics gives her a trained eye for how a rider's position, movement, and energy are directly affecting the horse's responsiveness, balance, and willingness. Most riders are unaware of how much they are influencing their horse without realizing it. Nicole identifies those patterns and gives you a practical, immediate way to address them.
On the horse's side, Nicole prioritizes progressive, individualized education that builds genuine understanding. Every horse is evaluated on its own merits and taught accordingly. The goal is a horse that is focused, soft, and willing because it has been taught clearly and fairly, not one that has simply learned to tolerate the ask.
Every session, lesson, or clinic is built around sending you home with practical tools and a deeper understanding that you can carry forward long after your time working with Nicole, and continue to build a reliable and lasting connection with your horse.

Nicole's foundation in horsemanship was built early, growing up showing AQHA horses alongside her grandmother and learning from respected trainers in the industry. That foundation deepened through years of competitive experience, hands-on mentorship, and pursuing her accreditation as a Certified Professional Horsewoman through Colton Woods' Professional Horseman's School.
Her professional background as a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist brought a clinical lens to what she was already doing instinctively, reading how the body moves, identifying where the breakdown is happening, and building a plan to correct it. That same methodology shapes how she teaches today.
Nicole is dedicated to the continual pursuit of education and mentorship alongside industry-leading professionals and horsemen, continuing to progress as a horsewoman so that she can better serve the riders and horses she works with.
